$100/wheel in 16
$135/wheel in 17

I'm iffy on the looks of em, but I know that they are good wheels. I dunno mannn.. that's pret-ty damn cheap! Sorry the link sucked. But anyway, these are the wheels and you can get them over at http://discounttire.com under Technomagnesio wheels.

Those rims are Technomagnesio made by MiM which is an Italian wheel designer. Not sure about the quality, but typically italian wheels are very good.

weight!? Im thinkin a light set of 400$ good looking 16" wheels for racing at PIR this summer would be good for me.
Re: These wheels are very cheap right now! (Ricks8vGTi)

er... not from what I've seen. Better than some other places, for sure. But the majority of Italian made wheels are rather heavy.
Re: These wheels are very cheap right now! (Juicejetta3)

They are heavy as hell!! I was going to buy them until I found out that they weighed 22lbs each! That is heavy. But they look really cool. Kinda a Volk TE37/SSR Good price if weight isnt an issue.

Good point! So let me ask this ... do we get what we pay for, for the most part? Because it's expensive, do we really get a quality part?
Re: These wheels are very cheap right now! (Juicejetta3)

my 17in kahns weighed in at almost 27lbs each

Don't want to burst your bubble, but BBS, OZ and RH do not make the lightest wheels around. Infact, I was thinking of picking up a set of BBS in 17" or OZ Volcano's till I found out they weigh 20+ pounds.
Yes, Italian wheels are good wheels, strong and typically a "classic design" by my definition. My masItaly's were also TUV approved and although heavy, as are momo's they're just as heavy as your "typical" German tuner wheels.
If you want something "light and german" OZ superleggra are light. 16lbs for a 16" or buy some "japanese (vortex forbid)" wheels that are lighter then 10 pounds...
In fact Porsche wheels weigh 20+ pounds ea, so do the precious s3 wheels and just about most aftermarket wheels including ABT and oettinger.

Re: These wheels are very cheap right now! (Goobery69)

haha, screw the light racing wheel idea of mine then.
Check sig. under $1000 for the wheels I have, and thats with tires!! They are 16's, 17's are about $50 more.
They are supposedly "japanese style" but oh well.
Re: These wheels are very cheap right now! (Slapshotnerd)

hmm...when i go on there it says they are 215 each for 16's

hmmm... I reread, and I can't see anywhere in this thread where we discussed BBS, OZ and RH being the lightest wheels around.
I'm well aware what light wheels are, but I'm also well aware what really heavy wheels are.
And for $100 / wheel, those are going to be some heavy-a$$ wheels. Quality and lightweight cost money... and you aren't going to buy 17s if you want performance.

Why ?
I for one enjoy cruising at high speed where I want all the cornering and handling power I can get. My 17's give me just that.
