Physics or Racing by Brian Beckman has something for everyone.
It is a series of article about racing written from a physics point of view. A lot of really good info is covered on this page http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Think you understand your driving? (matoo)

hahah while I agree with your intention of your post, I must laugh because, preaching to VWvortex patrons about learning or understanding physics of driving is trying to teach 2nd grads kis about linear algebra.
LOL. never going to work.

I mean lets face it. Unless we are talking about BBS wheels or body kits, your posts about learning how to drive holds no more water than busted cup.

Just kidding, Matt. I just printed the linked article off, so I can read it in my spare time.

I don't get it - there are 26 chapters, not just one big long article ... mmm ... dumb question but is there a zip file of all chapters to date (for an easy download and perusal later)?

Thanks!

I think reading while you're racing is covered in chapter 9.

Reminds me of the "Rides" about the Murcielago roadster. A designer is talking about Valentino Balboni. He talks about how he knows nothing about gravity or friction or physics, but he sure knows how to drive!
