I've always thought it might be cool to mess around with one, but never really took it seriously. Well Just recently my buddy picked up a clean 67 fastback. Needless to say my intrest got sparked again. And with the current state of my rabbit

and the hope's of finding a clean MKI shell in the Midwest are pretty much hopeless. Not to mention finding replacement parts are difficult (compared to the AC world) I find myself searching The Samba and other classifieds for my next project. *sigh* what to do

I just needed to get that off my chest.

If you have an everyday driver while you work on it, go for it. They are very fun, and I'll own one again sometime after I get rid of this one. I don't have time for a project in my life right now.
