seems like somebody else out there has the same good taste that i have...same grill, same motor, same wheels......HAHAHAHAHA...damn what are the odds.....

I noticed you have what looks like black vinyl on the B pillars. Is that off a Jetta?

The vinyl pisses me off......i want to take it off when i take my car to the shop. Shes an 86 Golf Gl...ive never seen any other A2 golf with that.weird. i think the PO put it on. O well..

I was thinking of how it would look nice on my car jusy yesterday!!! I want em, where do I get them at, what kindof material are they?

I think that AwesomeGTI sells those B pillar coverings in carbon fiber with a little red "GTI" at the bottom...now, this begs the question as to whether or not you think that it would be "ricey" I think that it'd look hot like on the C class, so long as it's not like Foila-tec film http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif I'd get the link for you, but my computer is pissing me off.

Plastic/vinyl, dealer, $57 each piece as quoted to me by 3 dealers in Seattle. Mine is currently AWOL while I search for cheaper alternatives.

The vinyl does look pretty cool on a lighter color Golf. I might do something like that on my silver '86. Of course, to be contrary, I did pull the vinyl stuff off my old Jetta.

You want vinyl? Gotch'yer vinyl right here...
Actually, get yourself to your local sign shop - they have self-stick vinyl film in a rainbow of colors (usually including something that looks like carbon fiber - and a few that look like marble if you're so inclined...). Get a couple feet of black and trim to fit - it's the same stuff used for decals and racing stripes and etc etc. and doesn't come off until you want it to.
