I can't be the only one who's thought about this.
With careful cuts, sanding, and custom smoothing, do you think one could bring the 4Mo valance openings AND the stock openings together into singular larger openings? A la RS4-esque style?
Think it'd be worth it?

I took that picture!!!!

That would look very cool and very unique... I wonder how much it would cost. I'm sure it can be done, anything with enough $$$ can be done. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

It could easily be done, however, you would then need re-enforments on the back of the bumper (inside), such has a hard mesh style re-enforcement, which would probally be wanted anways

Well, I'm heading to the bodyshop to pick up an Oett grill and JE Grill (for sale btw) and I'll chat w/the fellas and see what they think.
A Eurobumper is what? $200? 4mo valance is $100? Figure $150 to paint.
And then the bodywork...this is where I approach dimishing returns. I could get something done already for this much.
But then it'd be original.
*The Eurobumper/4Mo valance blend RS-4-look bumper is intellectual property of Jman5000 industries. Any design or use of sed bodylook w/out express written...ah screw it...too early to be witty.

ACK!!!! I don't like that wide opening one bit... it looks like the car is gasping in shock or something... perhaps on how bad it looks

plus with the sides... there are scoops so the holes arent even.... but if you really wanted to
The only thing that would make the gaping center space look good would be a nice GIGANTIC intercooler mounted benind it

It seems to me you could cut and shave this by youself! I've done some minor bodywork such as this myself on friend's cars. Just get some sheers to crudely cut away the middles peices, and then sand down the leftover plastic with increasing denisty sand paper. Then prime it and have the bodyshop paint it.
