I'm thinking (besides 2-3 different bodykits) to go a little more stealthy.
Maybe 4Mo front valance (colormatched) blended to bumper...maybe even add the Kamei wings and blend them too. And colormatch/blend the rear valance to the bumper.
Are there flex problems w/this? It's inevitable that w/our dropped cars that the valance scrapes sometimes. Wil one of these break the "seal" between the blend?
Or should I scrap this idea based on dollars and effort, and just get an Oett front, 25th sides, and TBD in the rear?

Re: Those who have had valance blend-jobs at the bodyshop... (Jman5000)

I've been thinking about this lately too. Must be the air in these parts. Specifically in my case, 4-mo rear valance and stock front blended/painted plus Oett rear wing.
As for being lowered, I can see hitting a parking block would probably bust the seem.
But probably not a scrap on a drive way I don't think. Either way I was going to ask the body shop guy all my friends hang out with first and get his thoughts.
Personally, I like your Oett front, 25th sides etc etc idea better.

Damn, J. You're talking all of my ideas. Grillcraft, blend valences, Milltek. What next? I at least know that I'm doing one body mod that you won't go for. Hopefully you won't do it before I do. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I'm doing this right now to my bumpers. I'm using a flexible polyester putty to do the filling. When I say flexible, I don't mean like rubber, but it definitely bends. I'm also using it to fill in the rub strips. Just to test it, I've twisted the bumper to points that wouldn't happen if it was on the car, and it seems to be fine. A scrape shouldnt' be a problem, but if you run into a parking block or something that may be a different story.

Will it break?
I talked to my paint guy about blending my rieger lip into my bumper, and he said "not a chance". Mine is so low , that if I scraped it or pulled another stupid mistake like I did yesterday morning, then the whole bumper would crack.
not a good idea if you are dropped very low (which I think you are with your KWs).

I have that done to my car. It has worked great so far. Zero problems. The bond between the valance and the bumper is very strong. I strongly doubt that rubbing the valance on a speedbump, curb, parking block, etc. would break the seal.
Here are a few pics:

More pics in my sig. My bodyshop is actually making a fiberglass kit based on my car; the bumpers will look exactly like the ones I have on my car. They will be made from one solid piece of fiberglass, so there will be no flex in the valance, and you won't have to worry about the seam splitting. Also, a number of other little things are going to be fixed like moving the cutout for the tow hook to the proper location for US cars (the Euro cars have the tow hook about 3" too the right). Should be about $450 for complete replacement front+rear bumpers. My guess is they will be out in about a month.
Oh yeah.. the pics were taken by the cocky bastard who posted below me. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
