Hey, do any of you guys (namely Steve, Joe, Tony
) have a VW Scene or other german mag with this car featured? If so, and you could scan it up for me, that would be truely AWESOME! I am in love with this Vento... I got the poster from VW Golf Scene on my wall
but not the mag..

Please ignore the wallpaper, it will be Nimbus Grey within a couple weeks I hope

Oh, and I find it ironic my fav Vento has half as many mods as I do..

huh... a car without a euro vr6 or aftermarket chin spoiler... and look how low that thing is to the ground... damn.
Other than the ride height and the wheels, that car doesn't do much for me. Colour is cool, but that front end needs a grill spoiler, a badge, or something... it's just too plain... it looks confused or somethin'.
I like the wallpaper, fairy. It looks magical.

That car is money. If it were mine I would run a euro chin left black... leave the handles black.. and the rear valence black... and leave the mirror stalks black. Smoked E-Codes of course...smoked long fogs and turns... then it would be even more perfect than it already is. Actually it would be pretty much what my ideal exterior of a dub would be... pick your color.

Bah, you just aren't cool enough to understand is all. The front end is sposed to be plain with that look, adding a grillspoiler would be like adding a rear deck spoiler - it would be completely unneeded clutter. All efforts to being low.

You're not the only one, trust me. I hate them too. Personally, I'd leave my car on concrete blocks before I put those wheels on the car - that's my opinion and i'm sticking with it - some would say the same about the Pzwo kit, so we're even..

LBS: I did a quickie scan of the last year or so of Scene, Speed, WOB!, and a few others and came up blank. Note though that I just did a quick flip through and scan of the index of each issue. Ask anyone whose been to the house, it would take literally a whole day (if not more) to go through the whole cabinet and I just don't have that kind of time. I did find that color on every imaginable car VW has ever made. The poster is from VW GOLF & Scene and they have put other cars on the poster that have no other pics to be seen. so it's quite possible there is no article on this car - and it's also possible that I am just missing the issue or missed it whilist scanning back issues. I'll keep an eye open for you though.

Now that's just stupid. Sorry bro, there's plain.... and then there's too plain. If you're going to have rims that poke, a angled single wiper and an agressive paint job, don't have a front end that says "come stroke me".
I see a Dodge Shadow up there. Drive past Burnaby City Hall one night and look at all the company cars parked outside, you'll see what I mean.
