Well, i just put a post up describing how it feels like the brakes let go a bit when coming to stop http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=246547 (Thanks, fellow vortexers for helping out). But, today, i found out that it's not the brakes! It's the TRANNY!!! Thanks to masteradkins and psrbirds for pointing out that it might be the tranny dropping into 1st (which would explain the correlation with coming to a stop), I put the tranny into tip mode so it would show the gear change. Voila, the "anti-dive" that I thought it was happens exactly when the gears go from 2 to 1. Well, now that I know what it is, my question is...IS THIS NORMAL??? We're talking about 2002 Tiptronic here.

No, it's not "normal" to drive an automatic. You ride around, you don't drive.
