Clutch engaged, in neutral, whirling noise.
Clutch disengaged, no noise.
Clutch engaged, in gear, no noise.

I have been reading and I can't figure out which of these two it is. I replaced the throw out bearing last year (The one that connect to the clutch arm on the transmission and hits that long rod right?) and I can't remember if I replaced the input shaft bearing when I redid the tranny seals. Anyone got any advice? I guess I could have gotten a bum throw out bearing.

How about when you put just slight pressure on the clutch? Does the noise go away?


You have to open the tranny case to change the input shaft bearing, and then spend a lot of money to get it back together. So you would probably remember something like that

Yeah I just replaced the throw out bearing. Can oil level cause this? I changed my tyranny oil to red line MTL
