You never really know how much you’ve got until you’ve moved.  Recently our East Coast office did just that, discovering hundreds of brochures and press kits from years gone by.  Rather than discard them, we’ve decided that it would be best to preserve all of this literature by uploading it directly to our galleries for all to see, and feature on Thursdays in a special throwback piece.  This week we're placing our spotlight on the Mk3 Golf Color Concept.

Available in Jazz Blue, Salsa Green, Flash Red and Diamond Black, the Golf Color concept vehicles offered European customers a way of making their car stand out a bit more, in a very 90s way.  Full leather interiors with Recaro buckets, shift boots and door cards tailored to match the exterior of the car were offered on Cabrio, Golf and Golf Estate body styles, with 1000 produced in each color. While there was certainly a color option to fit just about everyone's individual taste, all cars were powered by the same 8 valve four cylinder motor.

Check out the full brochure below, and stay tuned for more Throwback Thursday posts in the coming weeks.
