thumbs up for ECS Tuning!!!!

I ordered TT pedals, Turbo S Dead Pedal, and the W8 panel late Monday and I ordered it 2 day shipping. They couldn't get it out Tuesday, so on Wednesday they overnighted it so that I would have it here by Thursday..no additional cost to me

I get the package, go through the install of the panel, and what do you know, it doesn't work. In fact, it's weird, the dash lights come on when you plug it all up, but when you open the door, the dash lights go off, but the dome light comes on

So I call up ECS, even offer to call me back so I don't have to pay for the phone call (the 800 number rang busy), and Paul walks me through a problem with the wiring adapter (a pin was in the wrong spot), and we fix it on the phone, and off I go, and I LOVE the panel, I can't wait until it gets dark....
Now this is the sort of customer service that I like and I will continue to buy from ECS

That's funny, not to rain on the ECS parade, but I didn't recieve the what I would consider the BEST service from them. I ordered 2 sets of spacers and the bolts I need to go with them. Brian asked me at the time what type of wheels I was running, and I told him aftermarket wheels so I need tapered seat. I get the package....ball seat bolts. I call immediately, Brian tells me I need to ship them back at my cost and when he recieves them he will ship me new ones. When I question him about that he says he will send a call tag. No call tag that day, no call tag the next. I call this morning...oops, forgot the call tag. The only other option he gave me to get the bolts faster was for me to place a seperate order, charged to my card, and he would refund my card when he got the other bolts back. I had a similar problem with FK sending me the wrong shocks in my kit. They shipped me the new shocks that day, overnight, and I had them at 9am the next morning. That is what I call good customer service when a mistake is made. Maybe I just caught them on an off day....who knows?

I got my H&R cupkit installed by ECS tuning and they did it quick and for a great price. Tom's a great guy and has one hella dub! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif . I would recommend ECS tuning to anyone.
PS- ECS, at least when I went there, is always getting swamped with calls and orders, so maybe that is why you had a bad experience.

I should get mine on Monday. What wires were screwed up? I would like to solve the problem before it happens.

I tried to order big brake kit from them and Tom ask me to send him email for this,but nobody reply.They must be very busy but I think nothing more important then dealing with customer in the first min.

I don't remember which wire was messed up. Paul checked the other wiring harnesses and said that they were all fine, so you should be okay

You want FIRST MINUTE service? Then CALL the place!! ECS is extraordinarily busy 7am to 7pm...Tom/Brian/the whole crew work their butts off. Tom manages the front end and mans the phone constantly. That alone eats up a lot of time. Emails get replies, but there can easily be a lag.
