I was wondering if the belt and the water pump was easy to replace on the passat, and should it be done more often than the manual says? I have that ticking sound that many people accisociate the belt and pump with, would a dealer reconize that and cover it under waranty, or what? I have heard of people getting it replaced under warranty without it breaking, I have a severe clicking sound and wierd countious sound when on the gas.
