A new suspension won't hurt, but the real problem is launch technique and
tires. You'd do better to get some stickier tires, and work on
riding the clutch away from the launch to keep it on the line
between maximum acceleration and minimal wheelspin. That or
get the Mustang to race you from a rolling start instead. They
do launch hard being RWD. From a light a GT will get a car
length on me and then I reel them in at the top of 1st and 2nd. (S/C VR6)
