I did a search on the Vortex and found a few older topics in regards to these coilovers.. I was looking into the Patec Holeshot Series 3 coilovers. ( http://www.tmtuning.com )
So far what I've read is the ride is a little harsh and aside from that the wait times on orders are a little long, but for the price 560 USD for the Holeshot (fully height adjustable front and rear). They're manufactured by Patec (appearently a small reputable German company) and are TUV approved with a 3 year street/race warrenty.
I also started Solo2 racing so the firmer ride doesn't scare me off and I like the idea of adjusting the height (raising the front to a 1-1.5" drop for solo2 and then dumping it for the street).
Opinions/experience with these would be greatly appriciated

a pic for views and to illustrate the need for further dumpage

get em if you dont mind the wait and the shipping costs.

even figuring shipping and duties they're less expensive than FK highsports by a few hundred... but the q is weather its one of those "u get what u pay for" jobs

Re: TMTuning Coilovers (PrupleGTI)

i have them...very solid ride...no complaints here
The ride isnt as harsh as everyone says too. The price comes out to be around 650 US dollars too and i believe you wouldnt have to wait that long, the reason a lot of people had to wait before was because the machine that makes the springs broke...but its up and running now http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I had a set of Patec coils. I hated them. A lot. Didn't help that when I bought them the rears were blown http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif

You might also look into Weitecs. I know from time to time you can get pretty good group buy deals, and have also heard great things aout Matt at TZ being able to hook up a pretty good price on them. I wound up getting mine from a group buy a couple years back for under 650 shipped. Just a thought anyways, I have no experience w/ the Patecs.

I've only installed the rears so far and they are solid
I'm going to attempt the fronts tomorrow. I'll post once they're installed.
