what is the product to use to restore the black/rich luster to faded black pieces"?

Kiwi shoe dye, or some cookingoil... (sunflower or nut-oil)

I have used peanut butter, black again, and kiwi shoe polish.
I personally recommend the peanut butter and doing the jelly follow-up.
