I was in but backed out this week because I don't want the grill for now. Anyways I called TZ and they hadn't come in yet. Matt said by the end of the week but with them who knows. I wouldn't expect to see them for another 2-3 weeks!

Called today and they said some had shipped yesterday, but it might be another couple weeks before they all get out (WTF?!) plus instead of it being $105/shipped it ended up being $115ish
lame!

Hmm... My CC was charged on 11/28. I called several times to attempt to get a tracking number or to find out if the grill has even been shipped yet. First call Zubehor "Our computers are down you'll have to call back in a few hours". I call back later "Thats already back in shipping and you'll have to call back monday to talk to them". Third call on monday "The grilles have not shipped out yet. We are still waiting for a shipment then we will ship them all out to the customers at the same time." Bleh. I'm sure each time I called I got a different person... but at least they could get their story straight. At this point I'm just going to forget about it for a bit and be patient. GG Zubehor.

Got my grill yesterday!!! It looks shhhhhweeeeeeeet! I'm either gonna put it in tonight or put it in tomorrow morning before our GTG here in the BA

I'll letchya know how it goes!

My only suggestion is maybe a before/after pic of your front grille. Also, are you painting the grille? I have a silver GTI and would suspect a black Kamei grille would look kinda weird?

I have a black TDI, so no painting here (thank GOD!)
I'll make sure and take some b4/aft pix for ya'll and toss em on my site. Anyone else do this mod and have any rec's?

For those who haven't received their grills yet, you are probaby in the 2nd group. They shipped out whatever grill they had to the earlier people who ordered first. If you order later or was in the 2nd group, they will come later.
Moose, you don't need to paint the grill, just your car behind the grill black. Here are some pics of my install:

I just finished the install (6pm PDT) and started at 4!!! The Kamei instructions bl*w!!! I'm still not sure if i installed it right, but I've driven my baby 30 or so miles, and it's still on their, so...let's hope it stays... I'll post pic's hopefully tomorrow of how it looks..
On a sidenote, anyone know of how to get rid of the orange plastic circle in the headlamp unit (for the turn signal)??
