i had them on my accord(i won't make that mistake again) with suspension techniques springs. the ride was very good, and the shocks lasted a very long time.

I had the Tokico HP with Eibach Pro-Kit spprings on my 1988 MR2 Supercharged. Firm ride, great handling.
