yeah, I am a cheap bastard (being in high school, making minimum wage will do that for you, though). I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy clear "banana markers" (yes, I know it is kinda oxymoronic) for my Jetta? For some reason, I really dislike the big orangeness. Thanks!

Some of us are still doing that! It's easy to save.. just think of what you want more, a burger or shaved fenders!

Don't even bother with homemade ones anymore when they are manufactured with processes that can't be duplicated by anyone (sonic welding). Lots of VW tuners sell them now.
Search by seller platpart on ebay. They sell REAL ones for about $35. Professionaly manufactured.....

I've got homemade ones. They look like ass if you are closer than 10ft from the car. Still better than the orange things.

Oh yeah, the housing around the edge is chrome, I just masked off the lens cut around it with a razor blade and sprayed it satin black. It turned out awesome.
