Hey guys I bought a dongle was tired with lack of resources at the dealerships in the area.It's going to be interesting when I start the AID retrofit

Boy does the Helix sound much better once it was progrmmed

For the Canadian members, specifically the GTA folks if you would like to rent the dongle for the Helix please feel free to PM me.

Mind if I ask where you got yours? And do you have a 2018 GSW? Looks like removing the MIB radio is a PITA.

I ordered mine through Auburn Volkswagen (States) they had a clearance sale for $230US with shipping and conversation it came out to $430 CDN.

I've had in stalled back in Feb 2018; I just programmed it

I couldn't believe I left it for this long; it totally changes the system for me.

Hi Nugetchew, just installed the Helix in my 2019 GTI (sounds good already). I seem to be getting ignored by the dealers in the area regarding programming. I guess they don't like easy money?
Are you still renting the programmer out? I refuse to ask someone if they're "renting out their dongle". The wrongness of how it sounds is unbecoming of a gentleman.
I am in the Hamilton area, let me know if you're still active on here........

Helix is an OEM sold subwoofer and DSP/amp upgrade (plug and play) and a dongle is the OEM programming devise that adjusts timiing and eq presets for specific vehicles/styles
