Not joking with you, but I've wanted to put a 20v into an E36 for years now. 2jz is cool but I have no need for 1000hp, and the 20v sounds cooler.

And then there is Hap's Green Monstah. After Dave Jones left 3R Automotive to start S-Line, I was working with a partner company that shared shop space. We co-developed the tubular turbo manifold Hap used. The genesis of the 2.5L stroker was a failed CDI-ignission dyno session where tuner couldn't make it so Hap just did a few pulls to check things out with catostrophic results. I had the pleasure of pushing that S4 shell in and out of our shop regularly for a year. Such a pig even with no drivetrain. It was an absolute pleasure watching Dave Jones reassemble Hap's car. I always wonder what it's up to these days. Old article below.
