my stepdad has a Lotus Exige S-240 and it came with the Yokohama A048's. they were an alright tire for the street but autocrossing, the brakes would stop before the tires would. now he got new wheels so he went with the Toyo Proxes R888's and man all I can say is WOW. what a difference in tire. The R888's grip like crazy. I rarely lost control and when I did those tires would catch and put you back on track. they are so much better than the Yokohama's. I would highly recommend the R888's for a track tire.

IMO....R888s or NT01s-both good value and sticky http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I've only driven on the Toyo R888s and back in the day, the RA-1s... never had any issues, those tires rock.

i've run the R888's on mine for over a year now at track days, tarmac rallies and motorkhanas
super happy with them, decent life out of them (225/40R18)
i don't think the Yoko's have the XL ratig for the R32?

if money is no issue go wit with the Toyo's. If money is tight I would go with Nitto NT01's.
And 225/40/18's should be just fine.

The big autocross tire right now is the Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec... tread wear ~180, not sure what the R888s or A048s are like though.

Re: FV-QR (ZPrime)

People run the Star specs because they are still considered street tires.
Id do the Nittos or toyos as mentioned above.
