Is $8,500 a good price for a close-to-stock 1998 GTI VR6 in Ginster Yellow with 55,000 miles? Pics and mods in my for sale link in my sig. I'm trying to buy a GTI 337, but I need to sell my current GTI for a good price so that I can afford it.
Do you think I'd be better off selling it to someone here with everything or parting it out and trading it in?

dude, 8500 is not enough. i just traded my 98 VR6 in with 80000 miles, bad belt tensioner, burned out dash light, broken glove box and not so great paint for 10,800. The rest of the interior was immaculate though. they lost sooo much money (hehe!) on that deal!

Yeah right. Around here that car would sell for 16k at the dealer.

Part it out and leave it stock. Then someone would buy it for a decent price. You will be happy cuz the money ull get from the aftermarket parts and the money for the car will add up to a very good price http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif And the buyer would be glad also.
