tranny numbers
hey i have a tranny that says FF 25010 on it whats that mean ?
is there a web site i can go to look up the #`s ???

there is 4 different ones for the FF tranny

I think that the number that is after the tranny code is somehow supposed to stand for the date it was made.....maybe someone else can decode it for you. Then you look at the right FF that yo have.

Yours was made in 80 so it should be like the 3 listed (.76 5th). 81-84 had the .71 5th.

And yes, your looks like 25th of January, 1980 vintage, probably the 0.76 5th gear and the small reverse light switch.
