you have to open the case (obviously), get to the diff, then take it out, drill out the factory rivets, and put bolts in its place. it's not that hard, but youmight as well put a bunch of other stuff (like new bearings, screwed sync rings etc..) in while it is apart. it adds up. i bought my bolt kit for $28 USD. it's a peloquin bolt kit.
