when are you suppose to change the tranny fluid/filter on a 96 jetta 2.0 aba auto, i was told by some people and some experts saying that its not necessary to change the fluid, its synthetic and lasts the lifetime of the car unless the shift patterns change, leaking fluids etc, help me out here
