While driving my wife's 99 Cabrio, I was monitoring different parameters, including trans fluid temperature. I drove the Cabrio for about 50 miles at 65 - 70 mph. Water temperature was between 205 F to 215 F (a/c on and ambient temp was 98F), trans fluid temp was between 235 and 240F. I am not used to seeing trans fluid this warm/hot. Is there a way to adapt an auxiliary cooler like it is done on American cars?
