Is there anything I should be looking for over there that is hard to get here in North America?

VAT stands for Value Added Tax. Basically whenever you buy anything new here the Government adds 17.5% to the price in tax! This applies to new cars, but not second hand ones. So over here you lose 17.5% of the purchase price on a new car the minute you drive it out of the showroom!

You can probably find euro lights WAY cheaper there than you can here. That's what I would get, even if it's just to sell them here. My friend has gotten euro lights from europe for less than a 100.00 bucks!

You could get an Euro Corrrado front air dam. Except it's one piece, so it would be rather unwieldly.

are you sure thsoe werent jsut the lenses?
plus you have to remember that the english lights are positioned backwards so you will be blinding everyone on the road, on account of the driivng on the over side of the road bs.
whats the front air dam, the bumper thingy? i heard thsoe are like a cool grand

I my boss tells my that if I buy parts out of the country and have them shipped I shouldn't have to pay VAT. Whats the deal with that.

when you leave GB you can fill out paperwork or something to get all the vat back if you have reciepts. you dont have to pay it if you are not a citizen. I seem to remember someone telling me that.

be sure to take alot of film, too. you'll be amazed at the cars over there. i went to shoot a pic of a tvr tuscan, and a lancia delta integrale pulled up. 2 for the price of 1! i was thinking about picking up a set of piper cams, but the ad in PVW changed their prices (higher). oh well…

Some sort of blocking device to put on your TV, so when one of those commercials with Carrot Top comes on, the TV will show Japanese mud wrestling and play music by Bing Crosby.
