First of all - GUYS LETS GET YOUR PICS POSTED!!!!
Well, the fun began from Plymouth, MN!
The ride down was long, but fun. 2-way radios are definately a must . . . Thanks to Jed! ("Look, there are some 6 footers!")
We saw some cops, but they must have been scared of us . . . 120, and luckily he was looking at porn.
We rolled into Joliet at 3 and washed the dubs.
Dinner sucked, make sure not to eat at the Sports Bar!
As the dubs rolled in as the sun went down, the night had just begun! After 3 cases of 3-2 beer and a broken peanut jar, we all crawled to our beds and passed out!
No one can even imagine how fricken hot it was even at 8 in the morn. Must have been at least 110 degrees out in that parking lot!
The setup was pretty sweet! Even with 135 cars, definately could have had more of you guys out there! How about more of the old one's next year! (There wasn't much of my kind there . . . to those who were, it was real sweet!)
The food was definately good, but we were all starving at 9. Being hung over and stuck in the sun sure makes a crazy appitite. Maybe next year the food can be there earlier!!!
The music was alright, if you only listened to it every other song. Way too much diversity.
All in all, the people there were all sweet. Best Western was a blast! Lets kick it again soon!

It was indeed an awesome time... every minute of it...
Dinner at the Sports Bar did indeed blow... hard. Sorry guys... all the waitstaff was trashed and they were out of half the things we ordered and didn't know how to cook the other half.
The hotel kicked butt though. There were probably 60 of us and 20 dubs strong. A lot of beer was drunk... I had my fair share

The peanut jar sucked... I ended up sweeping that poop up.
Getting up on Saturday wasn't exactly a piece of cake... and I don't think that any of us felt too hot.. but we were pumped for the days activities. It indeed was hot as hell in the parking lot... glad that someone though of bringing a tent to chill under... we would have all been dead without it for sure. Lot's of nice cars.... Minneapolis represented hardcore.... taking first place in both MK2 Golf and MK4 Jetta.. mad props to you Zach and to you Mike as well...
Saturday night.... after a nice dinner in downtown Chicago... and a longass ride back to the hotel.. I took it easy... It may have been a little more eventful if the cute 6ft chick in the hotel parking lot didn't have to work at 7 this AM.... I need to find me a tall chick.... and she was an unsuspecting cantidate..
I def had a good time and I think we all did... I got to feel the wrath of the VR6 swapped MK2 on the way home... Zach and I switched for a bit... all I can say is... what a car... what a car....
Next year Minneapolis needs to dominate even more classes.... I think we can do it guys http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

The weekend was a F'n BLAST! I had the best time I have ever had at any car gtg/show. I had so much fun even though two huge things ****** my weekend.
1. Car in the shop during show getting diff, flywheel, and clutch installed. (no way in hell my car could have limped down there with the fried clutch.)
2. MY FUKKING MEMORY CARD IS DEAD!!!! 90% of all the pics i took there are gone!!! ARGH! And, to top it off, the camera doesnt even recognize the card when its in the camera.. so basically It's garbage.

Oh well, that really doesn't seem to important considering how kick ass the people and the experience was!

So are we grilling again this weekend? Thomas wants to meet VW VIXON and whatever her friend with the b3/b4 passat's name was, so I say we get something going here. Maybe we could all go to Xtreme Auto Trenz and get some cool stickers like Mike's while we're at it.

Teffen 2002 was a great time even though I think that i have heat stroke. The hotel party
was awsome too!

i was really surprised/happy to see all the MN guys come down, that was really cool. it shows how weak the appleton/milwaukee/chicago people are that never come up to the twin cities. (self included)...i know there are some, but never herds.

I was actually really dissappointed in the Mpls. turnout, most of our little group of freinds made it down, but I thought there would be a lot more Volksport cars, I think there were only 4-5 besides our crew.

well i would of went but with me having a kidney stone attack two saturdays ago and have sugery the following friday then recovering the next 2 weeks dont think it would of been wise for me to go. but next year ill be going. sounds like u guys had a blast. well give me a call when ever u guys want too meet up.

I would have went,but I promised my wife that I'd go on vacation with her(the only way she would let me go to waterfest).I did run into blingonion on the freeway on the way back fron WI dells(white cabriolet).
