Trip computer in the VR6 is it possible to install one in the 1.8T???

As the title says, I am curious to know if anyone has gotten the Computer that is in the GLX model Jetta of Gold (GTI VR6) and installed it into a GLS model car.
If so where did you get the part from, how much is it? How hard is the install (which sensors apply to it?

I would like to know, but I think that has a lot to do with your ECU. Not sure, but anyone that knew, please help.

someone on here has done this, i will search for the post. alot of work and electrical mumbo jumbo was involved though.
