First car with airbags: 1974 Oldsmobile Toronado.
Here's one I recently gave the answer to in another thread: what is the significance of the badge on the front of first-generation Infiniti Q45s?
Its some mountain in Japan. Dont know the entire story but someone will chime in with it.
What company, besides Willys, built Jeeps for the US army in the WWII era?
What was the first car to have a tilt, and slide sunroof?
1972 Ford Granada.
And while all Infinitis wear the pointed emblem that supposedly represents Mt. Fuji, the Q45 had a different badge than any other Infiniti ever produced, where the emblem was overlaid on something else. That's what I'm looking for.
actually i disagre with both of..reason i saw some R&T tv where this guy was showing off his american muscle it was a rare car and even more rare and expensive with the sun roof working . .....way older than 72 buddy's

Uhm yeeeeaaah, i'm gunna have to go ahead and disagree with you there. I'm 92.7% sure it was the RX-7

Um, you'd be wrong for several reasons:
Reason 1) http://www.webasto.com/company/en/3151.html
Reason 2) The RX7 wasn't even introduced till the mid-70s--several years after the Granada.
Here's another question while you folks are working on that Infiniti one: what was the first car to wear the Porsche name, when was it built, and why was it significant?

Sliding sunroofs long predate the 70s. But tilt and sliding ones don't.

Lohner-Porsche circa 1900, let me try to find a pic (it was the fastest car at the time I believe)
Sure, they do, but AFAIK, the 1901 Lorhner-Porsche was the first car to carry the name plate.
As mentioned above, the L-P was electric powered. It was also the first FWD car.
I should've specified, I didn't mean the tilt and slide(spoiler) sunroofs, I meant the roofs that tilt up to vent, but can then slide back under the roof.(inbuilt sunroof)
Sorry, I've heard alot of guys call VW sunroofs tilt and slide.
I guess since I got it right, I get to ask the next question? This is an easy one, what engine was GM 'forced' to develop to compete with the very well selling Ford Flat...(I don't want to make it too easy
