trunk light always on???

I check to make sure the trunk is closed, but the trunk sensor is still lite on my dash cluster. What could be the problem?

This is easy..The trunk will not actuate the switch when it is closed...If you can't somehow make the switch close when you close the trunk than disconnect the switch because having the light on all the time will kill your battery after a time...
