Ive heard that the inlet size of the resonators that come with the TT 2.5" exhaust actually goes down to 2 1/4 (or around that area). Is this true? If it is, then it is really pointless to get the 2.5" if you are going to get the resonators since it isnt a true 2.5" throughout right? Or are the resonators inlet 2.5"? Thanks

I seriously doubt that, but you can call TT and ask them.

It's true, because the outlet on the cat is 2.25 or so.
It doesn't matter though, because the exhaust works...it's one of the only exhausts that work on the VR6.

GOOD CALL. 2.5" SS TT with 2 resonators (really only one, one is not a resonator) and Borla is like the perfect match and is one of like 2 systems that actually help. The VR6 is awesome for exhuast, it has no problems stock really, but the intake side of the engine needs work, hence the VGI!
