Re: Turbo done! Tune time! (bmxrado)

I've built 3 turbo Corrados and if you are running Digi 1,don't push it past 15 psi and turn your CO pot "rich" 400 ohms,or around there, and if you want max power, unplug your 02 sensor,it will give you bad gas mileage but the most power on stock injection, and make sure you have a a/f gauge and BE SURE that if you do the timing adjustment you do it to factory specs(6-8 deg.BTDC with blue coolant temp sensor disconnected and engine at 1500-2000 rpm's,if you go to advanced you will crack a piston(detonation!!)If you need any tips IM me,with such a nice setup and all that time and money spent you should spend $1300.00 and put stand alone SDS in there,it will run CHERRY!! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif I have a turbo Rado' too!!

Re: Turbo done! Tune time! (SILVERADO)

Thanks man I will make sure the timing is right and and tune it to about 12 PSI. My Air/Fuel gauge shows me running good mixture so I should be ok. I am at 5 PSI right now.
but that will change today
I just want to make sure that it holds together! What type of oil and how much do you suggest with this turbo app? I used cheap stuff for a few days because I am going to change it after a couple hundred miles to clean any trash out of the motor from having it apart. I like it so far with the 5 PSI cantwait to go higher!!
Maybe because I have been driving a honda will working on mine so 1 PSI feels POWERFUL!!

Re: Turbo done! Tune time! (markcorrado1)

Thanks, I am looking at grills right now. I dont know what I want . Post some pics of the better ones if you would. I need one that I can cut up a little to make it fit right. I also want to get some nice side skirts (M3) and put my rear suspension in.
Right now I just want to drive it!!!
It has been in the garage for 2 months and I was having withdrawls!
