I was told by a buddy of him with the Greddy Turbo Timer on his 2002 GTI, that the 2003 moel does have different wiring and it is possible to wire it up but still keep total use of the stock alarm. Is this possible?

Ok, I have a question, I don't know much about the whole turbo thing this is my first VW, and I don't know if anyone has posted this question before. But has anyone tried having it installed at a shop to see if they have a solution for this problem. If so what have they told you.

The install of the Turbo Timer is not the problem, it's having it work in conjuction with the oem alrm. Meaning have the alarm turn on after the turbo timer turns off. That is the major problem that the 02 are having. I'm sure you would not want to walk away from your car knowing that it would not be protect right...so that's why we have been trying to come up with a solution to this problem. I'm also tring out a few things to see if we can crack this thing. If anybody comes up with the solution I hope they share it with us http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
