Turbocharging a 1.6 8v... questions
I'm looking to turbocharge my 1.6. I have a t03 off a 83 TD. I have a few questions...
Do I need to get more fuel to the cylinders? If so, how should I go about doing this? Do I need to make any electronics adjustments/swaps?
Also, the cylinderlike thing coming off the compression chamber, which, I assume, is the wastegate valve, has a problem. The cover for it has rusted out at the bottom where it connects to the chamber, and I can slide it up and down.
Is this a problem? If so, can I fix it?
Finally, should clean/rebuild the turbo?
Any answers to these question or general comments would help out.
