Really surprised how much differnence in throttle response it made. Best $50 you spend on the car. Made as much difference as chipping the car. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: TURN 2 MOTOR MOUNT, SURPRISED HOW MUCH DIFFERENCE IT MADE (VWpowa)

Did you do all the mounts at once or lower first? If you did them in sequence I am curious how much different it felt between one and all three. More vibration?

I was very impressed with the difference when I installed the front lower 'hockey-puck'. But,
I couldn't really tell the difference when I installed the front upper - of course, it was replacing
a non-damaged front upper motor mount.

The question I still haven't heard answered though, is does it cause vibration through the steering wheel? I was in a rental Dodge Stratus a few weeks ago and the steering wheel would vibrate while I sat at a red light. Wouldn't want the Jet to do that!
If I replace just one mount will it vibrate? What about all three?

Re: TURN 2 MOTOR MOUNT, SURPRISED HOW MUCH DIFFERENCE IT MADE (racerx17x)

I have the lower and the upper rear(the one that would cause the most vibration) there is very very minimal vibration. Put it this way, ever gone for a ride in a 4 cylinder Asian car? Well cut that vibration in half, then cut it in half again, and then cut that in half, that's about how much vibration I have right now. Hardly any. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I agree, didn't notice too much with the lower one, but after I put the upper rear on, it was night and day.

That's a one piece - jello red looking. The one piece design typically doesn't help in motor decelleration (motor dives forward), cause there's nothing on the bottom half of the mount. You'll get what you pay for.

What is the best mount to use for a supercharged car. My motor jumps around so much my maf is rubbing all the paint off my strut bar and causes the maf wire to briefly loose contact, which causes a lean condition code to be generated.

I remember in the past that the turn2's were failing causing the hood to bow upward on n/a cars. Is the new setup capable of handling the stress of a boosted car?? or is there a better mount for boosted cars.

Re: (1BadAzzVR6)

We should have a comprehensive lineup for the A4 1.8t and VR6 coming up in the next few months.
