ive seen em around and im diggin em, just dont know if there is a certain type of grill, like a 2 peice? or is just an ordinary painted badgeless grill from good ole ebay like mine?, advice and comments please, thanks http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif oh and another thing, where do you get that slim boser?!?

2 piece grills, painted part is metal and usually snaps on to the plastic part

The green car is mine. I made the grill out of two OEM grills. I cut the emblem out of the first one, then bonded in pieces of the second one using a soldering iron (plastic welding) and Fusor 153. The ebay ones are one piece and can be painted to match, but I prefer the look of a true two piece. As said above, the lower strip is metal and clips into a plastic grill. I bought my OEM grill from Oldskool Industries

I too made my own out of the oem one. the plastic one doesnt have a very distinct line to paint on as the slats are "blended" into the lower piece

This is a GTI link, but it should work. I have a all black grill before I painted it. this might help when it comes time to paint.

thanks guys, think imma look into just buyin th 2 peice grill, if i paint my badgless ill post pics of hw it looks, prolly gonna look bad but worth a shot.
