quote:

do the RPI tails need "euro" bulb holders? BTW, What the [email protected]#$ is a euro bulb holder.

Yes, all euro taillights will need european bulb holders. RPI does include them in the purchase price.
As for a european bulb holder. It is a block similar to that found in US Jettas that shares one common ground and has inputs for all the postivies. Plus it has alotments for additional positives for say a trailer hook up or whatever. Also, a european taillight uses all single filament bulbs, unlike the US tails. This way it has 3 different compartments on the bottom row (from outer to inner: brake, running light, fog light [optional and drivers side only]) where as the US has 2 compartments that are both on the low wattage of a dual filament when running lights are on and then both high wattage when braking.
I hope I explained that well enough and did not confuse you. There have been some pics posted of the difference between the euro bulb holder, the jetta holder, and the US Golf holders (which is a holder with a positive and negative per bulb).
