uh hoh...ratchet clicking sound when pressing clutch..

i just noticed this as i was parking my car, after a good 3 hours of city driving...
when in neutral (maybe in gears too, couldnt tell) and i press the clutch down i hear a soft clicking sound... Weird thing, is i changed my clutch+pressure plate, bolts, and T/O bearing, as well as bearing seal (?? the seal from transmission case to the shaft). i greases everything up too while i was at it... so what could be the problem? or is this normal...

Wahoo!!! this is maxt on my buddie's comp... im sure glad its normal.
now the next question: what is clicking?

check your pedal linkage underthe dash. could be a dry spot that needs some lube.

Mine sounds like it's coming outside, I only hear it when my window is open.

normal, mine does it, incredibly annoying

yah same here i only hear mine when the windows are down. it is definitely coming from outside.. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

check the piston in your /clutch slave cylinder because it may be hiting on your fly wheel because you may have broke the control arm
