i finally finished trimming the dash to fit in my Rocco. I had to cut about 3-4 inches off. As of now I just screwed the sides of the dash in. I got it trimmed pretty close.
I need to find a couple more mounting points. The top needs to come up about an inch. BTW I used the rocco dash as a template to figure out how much of a curve I need the trim the dash. Im still trying to locate g60 swtiches, MFA out of a rocco or early A2 and some other stuff. I tryed to see if the rocco switches would work in the dash. But they are about 1/2mm too long. I guess I can make them work if I have to. But I dont think the headlight switch would fit. Since its bigger than all the other switches. I tryed to fit the G60 tilt steering column but it doesnt fit. If I wanted to do alot of welding I guess the A2 pedal bracket and steering column bracket would work. But I dont have access to a welder nor do I know how to use one. Anyway here are a couple of pics of the progress. I'll have more updates later.
