Hey all,
I went and had the battery charged, and it held just fine. We put it in the car, and it with it running, tests at 13.8 volts. Hmmmmm...... I come back, 2 days later, I'm pushing a whopping 10.2 volts. Methinks my newer alternator sucks. I'm taking it off and taking it over to Autozone to have it bench tested.
I have a question though. How do you remove the lower bracket bolt that the Alternator swivels from? Is it a hex head key? Or what size socket do I need to use? I can remove the top one with a 1/2 inch socket (yeah, it's aftermarket) but I am having a hard time firguring out what to use to remove the bottom bracket.
Thanks for your help,
Chris
