okie sorry for not posting bout the bbq... been fairly busy getting ready to become one of honolulu's finest (HPD)... takes up lots of my time...
but here is the skinny of it...
Food was voted on, on an earlier post that we should just bring our own food... that way someone is not stuck cooking and we dont have to wait for the food to cook... in plain its just more convenient to just bring your food... or you could order pizza...
same plan tho...
meet at L.L at the airport at 1030 am...
go to lagoon drive for some pics...
head to ala moana for food...
go to kakaako and cruise/ take pics all day...
if its raining...
new plan... we will still meet at L.L at the airport at 1030am
but we will go to ala moana for lunch...
and then go to either Hawaiian brians or D/B for some fun...
not to forget.. i will be taking donations for the following:
Big Brothers Big Sisters (old clothes, toys etc)
Homeless Shelter (any canned foods or non perishables)
Sick Childrens Hospital (new toys if you guys can afford it)
all the donations will be noted on a posting on the vortex that way people who help out will get their credit... if you can help out that would be great...
unless you guys/girls would like to do something else please let us know... basically the cruise discription above will take about 3 hours to complete once we reach kakaako... which would make it about 1 pm or so... please post ideas or suggestions... thanks...

We gotta do the circle da island thing. Stay'n in town side is going to be too short. We gotta go North Shore side for the peeps like Rob. So let's start at L&Ls then go Lagoon Drive,North Shore, Kakaako park or Ala Moana Park, then finish at Sandy's . Is that cool?Don't know about you guys, but I'd like some MATSUMOTO SHAVE ICE. Lagoon Drive(Pics)
North Shore(Shave ice/Pics)
Windward Mall(for the guys that can't hold it in)
Ala Moana or Kakaako Park(either or both)

That's why which ever scenic point we stop around lunch time, that's where will we eat. I'm sure there'll be some where good to eat for the guys who buy their lunches on the way. So I don't see a prob. I just may bring a cooler and lunch sack. Just like them good ol' days of elementary school field trips. Except no supervision or school bus.

i agree with the island cruise... i have not done a around the island thing... that sounds nice... my great grandfather should like those pics...
lunch at kuaina? or at the mexican rest? they even have a pizza hut... well we can decide at L.L. or just bring your bento...

i think lagoon drive should be taken out of the cruise tho... hit north shore early (small kine traffic)

I lyke this one... But instead o^ going to lagoon drive we should tackle north shore syde.... Theres nothing better then an island cruise..and the eating in north shore sounds awsome..
But i^ you guys lyke shave Ice then Pekk is the one, he hook you guys up all at no cost "Island Snow Kailua" hehe

WORD! I dig this... I gotta go to town then head back home then go back to town then back home..... awwwww yeah some hard core cruising I have to do but you know I'm always down fo dat.
Matsumoto shave ice you know im there.... Hope the weather holds up cause its gonna be awesome.
Just one more thing...what kind of turnout are we expecting? If we happen to roll up to a restaurant....(last time we had 40+ cars...say we have 2 persons per car thats 80) just make sure we get a place that can provide for all of us.
