I think there's been enough posts about the exhaust note, appearance, miles at delivery, R32 vs <insert car here>....
How about some posts on the handling characteristics of the car - suspension, roll, turn in, balance, track potential, autox potential and so on??
Perhaps you could compare to another setup e.g. HR&Koni's etc...
My impressions
- nice midrange power
- seems like there is a lot of grip
- some body roll. Not sure what it would be like when pushed hard.
- better suspension setup than my A4 quattro with Bilsteins and APR Roll Control. R32 seems firmer but not as harsh (if that makes sense!)
- rear seats only usable for people 5"9 or less (leg and headroom).
- relatively small trunk (do golf clubs fit??)
Preferred the overall package to a 225 TT

Re: US R32 owners - input on handling characteristics wanted.. (a4tq)

HANDLING
solid and responsive... (haven't pushed her too hard yet, but i have noticed that it does not understeer like my 01 Jetta WE 1.8T did in stock form...) go into an off ramp from a highway HOT and you will see what i mean..

Yes and no. They will not fit in the back without unlatching the back seat so it can lean forward. This was a point of concern for me as well.

Ah . . . where's Ian?
For more info than you can shake a stick at, search for the user, "Daemon42" in the R32 forum.
All the info he has provided from first hand experience with his R32 could form a thesis. He goes into detail about everything. Good stuff. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

It's a "point and shoot car".......ie: steer it & floor it.
