Vaccuum lines

When I am doing my 16v Scirocco transplant, I am trying to maintatain as closely as possible the same configuration of vaccuum resevoirs. It is all 1 closed system right? and the multiple tanks are just to increase capacity. Does it really matter WHICH ones I import to the MK1.
Maybe I should Re-phrase...Since I am keeping the cable controlled heater/vent that is in the MK1 what is the minimum vac set-up I need?

There may be some separation caused by check valves. I know I have a check valve that essentially seperates the heater controls from the rest of the system. I haven't really looked elsewhere.
