anybody know where they sourced the larger butterfly for these....TM tuning sells a TB but has stock butterfly plates. Velocity used a larger one, I've heard maybe older mustangs or something...
any info appreciated..

if you source the butterfly, you'll still need to source the linkage shaft to fit the flutterby.

They got the butterflys made by the guy who actually did the work. The shaft is stock. I thought those guys at dynamic Kris? had a connection to still get these TB from the dude.

I've got this weber TB for sale if anyone is interested. You'll have to make a bracket for the IDL and WOT switches.

velocity unit oversized butterflies non slimmed shafts hardly ported if at all

so is it only the larger butterfly that gets increased? I know someone who bores out the 16v larger butterfly by 2.5mm,but the velocity has more?

yes the they used a bigger plate, and the splines ar shaved down too.
they're used to be a couple of good posts wih great pics about them..
