currently installing the ds mount in my 02 jetta seems to be off by a 1/4 of an inch cant get the bolts in the trans anyone do this in one is there a trick I am missing? please dont tell me this is only for the manual

got them in cars front end really tightened up, feels nice and stiff around a turn
