My 2003 Jetta 1.8t tiptronic has 65000 mi I'm on H&R sports with oem struts, 18" BBS RC's and have 15mm H&R hubcentric spacers on the rear, and for about two weeks now my car vibrates at 35 mph and up. As soon as I let off the gas it disappears. I have searched the other mk4 forum and there are guys experiencing the same problems and replaced their whole suspension and drivetrain it seems like, but never came to a solution or atleast never posted that they fixed it. The dealership ofcourse wants $1400 to replace back to stock absolutely not
. Please help me I don't know where to go and what to do.

Re: vibration under ONLY acceleration (jordub)

I read somehwere that if you get vibration during acceleration its the sign of a soon to fail inner CV joint. After I lowered my car I experienced the same vibrataion and a day later blew the joint. The guy at Raxles told me the reason this happens is because the joint isn't engineered for that angle.
