I was cleaning the trunk in my Jetta3/Vento and found the Data Tag with VIN and option codes.

How do I decode the tag into what was originally on the car?

The last owner pretty much stripped it before trading it in to the dealer.

I know the TREK models had certain Standard equipment but it is lacking alot of those things but the tag says it is a '96 TREK

I tried several times to contact the Original selling dealer {Freeway VW San Bernadino,CA} with no reply with info yet {two weeks}.
Any tech-heads with connections please help.

I have seen alot of "views" but no responses, I guess no one has the info, or no one cares to solve this VW mystery.

When i was in for service at the VW dealer, i got the guy to come out with some book, that decodes the VIN, because my car did not come with the any emblem's on the trunklid, so i wanted to see what model it was. It is a Trek...

I sorta knew that part.
It is the options I need explained, one of the last owners removed and kept alot of the TREK-only pieces.

Anyone with access to the US version of ETKA parts software can usually decode the codes. I wish I could help more, I left the dealer parts dept. a little over 2 years ago.

VWoA is "as useful as a screen-door on a submarine". the customer service folks called me back to tell me they could not help me see the dealer, the dealer says they're too busy call customer svc.
