I got bought a 91 GTI yesterday for $400, and I thought i'd share it with you guys. This isn't my first VW, I own a cabriolet as well (my DD). It doesn't run because something about oil no getting to the top of the engine. If anyone knows anything in general about that, it'd help a bunch! I believe it has somewhere around 280,xxx miles on it.

Had a flat so we had to swap it out for one of my old ones.

It is a VR6 badge, I was told a friend pulled a prank on him and glued it on there and now it stuck.

However, with some work, it does seem as though you could have a nice car. But please, those wheels are too big and I'm sure they weigh a ton!

I'm going to be taking it to my work to have some bodywork done for dents and new paint all around.
I know the wheels are too big. There's no way I will even be able to buy tires! 205/40/17

It is an 8v. I'm thinking about doing some kind of motorswap since it's not going anywhere any time soon.

cookie cutter, but it will still be nice if you achieve that goal and dont cut any corners...remember attention to detail will always have great results
and for 400 bux it coulda had a VR spoiler mounted upside dowm on the hatch and it would still have been a great deal....for 400 you got a bargain http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
