This year's Frankfurt Motor Show is an incredibly busy one for the Volkswagen Group, with major introductions and concept cars coming from nearly every brand in their expansive portfolio.  But seeing as this website is primarily devoted to the Volkswagen brand itself, we spent the majority of our time on the ground in and around the German automaker's booth.  While our days were quite hectic between press conferences, meetings, interviews and the like, we did have a bit of time to shoot the show itself.

The single most significant new model shown by Volkswagen was clearly their second-generation Tiguan, shown in short-wheelbase form, and wearing multiple trim levels.  As Jamie has already gone over this model in depth, we'll skip the specifics and let him do the talking.

Next up is the GTI Clubsport, a car which, admittedly, we'll likely never get the pleasure of having on our shores.  The model gets a power bump, Recaro shell seats, a black roof, revised aero, and a host of other special touches.  As a package, it's quite a fitting celebration of the Golf's 40th birthday.
